About

Axentia Travels publishes guides to help you decide where to stay in Brazil: which area suits each kind of trip, with its pros and cons.

Who writes

The guides are written and reviewed by Lucas Romero, who lives in Brazil and works in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Drafts are prepared with the help of AI tools; before anything is published, he reviews and corrects it and checks the details of each area. If you spot a mistake, let us know and we will fix it.

How we make the guides

  • We compare areas, not hotels. The choice that shapes a trip most is which part of the city you sleep in; the hotel comes after.
  • We also say what is not worth it. Every area has drawbacks, and we put them in writing.
  • Everything is dated. Each guide shows when it was published and when it was last updated.
  • We do not show prices. They change daily; you see the current ones on the booking platform.

We are not a travel agency

Axentia Travels does not sell trips or packages. Bookings, payments and cancellations are handled on third-party platforms.
