What this site is

Axentia Travels publishes informational guides on where to stay in destinations in Brazil. It is not a travel agency: it does not sell trips or packages, manage bookings or take payments.

Bookings are made with third parties

Accommodation links lead to booking platforms run by other companies. The booking, price, payment, changes and cancellations are governed by the terms of that platform and of the accommodation. Any complaint about a booking has to be made there.

The information in the guides

We write the guides carefully and date them, but destinations change: opening hours, services, building works and safety conditions may be different when you travel. The guides are general guidance and do not replace official information or your own judgement. We do not guarantee availability or prices, which depend on each platform.

Affiliate links

Some links earn the site a commission, at no extra cost to you. This is explained in the affiliate disclosure.

Intellectual property

The site's text and design belong to its owner. You may quote excerpts with a credit and a link; you may not copy whole guides or republish them. Photographs have their own credits and licences, shown next to each one.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the site is not liable for losses arising from decisions made on the basis of the guides, or for the services of booking platforms or accommodation providers.

Changes

We may amend these terms. The date above shows the latest update.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. The courts of Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any right you have as a consumer under the law of your country to bring proceedings in the courts where you live.
